Mockingbird Lane Creations
Jewelry
I hand craft every piece. My design inspirations come from a wide variety of sources including my own frequent daydreams. Although I use a few standard techniques, I never make exactly the same item twice, which means that any item you see offered here is one-of-a-kind. To ensure I don't duplicate myself, I keep a photographic history of every necklace, bracelet, anklet, ring and pair of earrings I build.
The materials I use are always quality. You will rarely find me working with resin and I never use plastic in any of my creations. I primarily work with .925 sterling, 14kt gold filled, and copper wire for my pieces involving wire smithing. My preference for beads is to work with natural stones, bone, glass, crystal, and sterling silver or gold vermeille (Gold filled Sterling). Should you have a specific color scheme or a special design in mind, contact me and I will happily work with you to create just the right piece.
Photographic Art
In addition to the Jewelry I create, I also work in the medium of digital photography. My subject matter ranges from portraiture and nude figure studies to landscapes and nature macros. I work in color as well as black & white. To see a sampling of my work click on the link at the top of this page.
Would you like to model for me? If so, and you reside in either the Raleigh, NC area or near Watertown in upstate, Ny, then please contact me.
